The Business Laws (Amendment) (No.2) Act, 2021(the Amendment Act) was assented to by President Uhuru Kenyatta on 30^th March 2021. It amends several statutes to facilitate the ease of doing business in Kenya.

In this article, we review the amendments it makes pertaining to The Companies Act, 2015, The Law of Contract Act (Cap 23), The Insolvency Act, 2015 and The Stamp Duty Act (Cap 480).
