Joint Venture Guidelines to Provide Merger Notification Clarity in Kenya

The Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) recently invited stakeholder comments on its draft Joint Venture Guidelines (the
Proposed Guidelines). These Proposed Guidelines seek to provide clarity on which transactions implemented through joint ventures would qualify as mergers notification and approval by the CAK.
